Off Grid Solar Electric System>
Solar Domestic Hot Water
How it works: Hot water from your solar panels flows into your hot water heater. Many different configurations available depending on space available in the mechanical room and existing mechanical equipment.
Ideal use: Any residential or commercial domestic hot water use.
Solar Space Heat
How it works: Hot water from your solar panels flows into a storage tank. Solar hot water is then used in radiant floor heat systems or forced air heat systems in place of, or in addition to, fossil-fuel heated hot water.
Ideal use: Residential or commercial space utilizing radiant floor or forced air heat. Not recommended for hot water baseboard heating systems.
